Karimot, the sister of late singer, Mohbad’s wife, has dragged his father, Joseph Aloba for overlooking his son’s graveyards.
In a video captured online, Karimot slammed his father for crying out online over how people were picking sand from his son’s graveyard. She stated that his father should have covered the grave after it was exhumed but he left it unattended.
Karimot stated that Mohbad was frustrated in his lifetime and now, they will use the sand on his graveside for fetish purposes. She added that his father passed by the site of his graveyard, every time, and his comfortable leaving it open. Karimot questioned if he was a good father.
“Baba Mohbad should have covered up the grave where they exhumed his son but he left it open and unattended to. A few days ago, he was crying online that some people went to the graveyard to pick up the sand. The poor boy was frustrated in his lifetime and now they will use the sand on his grave for fetish purposes. The father passed by the site every time and he was so comfortable to leave it open. Is that a father?’”.
Recall that Mohbad’s father had angered many with his quick burial of his son, as the singer was buried the next day after his death.
In an interview, he explained the reason behind his son’s quick burial, blaming it on tradition, and addressed the complaints about the location Mohbad was buried in, which was beside a cassava farm.
A few days back, Karimot had called on The Ministry of Women Affairs and the Lagos Government to protect his widow wife, Omowunmi.
In a video captured online, Mohbad’s wife’s sister noted how internet trolls have been cursing Liam on social media without any reason. Calling on the government to come to her sister’s aid, she said that they have nobody as she questioned what Liam did to the public.
Her cry to the government came hours after Omowunmi had cried out in an Instagram live, as she questioned if Nigerians were going to allow what happened to Mohbad, to happen to her and her son. She stated that she and her son are at Nigerians’ mercy as she claimed her life is been threatened daily and has been robbed of her freedom.
Calling for help, she stated that she is determined to seek justice for her husband and has refused to remain silent until the truth is revealed and accountability is served.
Speaking on her father-in-law, she said Mohbad’s father was the one who pressured her to have a child for his son as she recounted their sweet times. She questioned why her father-in-law is now trying to defame her son and further questioned if his grandson would be pleased to know of his behavior.
