The mother of the late singer, Mohbad, Mrs Olumiyi has created a stir online with her bombshell revelation about the paternity of her son.
The late singer’s mother, in a leaked audio, alleged that Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba isn’t the father of their son. Mohbad’s mother had reached out to a blogger, who was in support of his father to drag them. The deceased’s mother urged her ex-husband to undergo a paternity test while issuing him a three-day ultimatum.
She further said that the singer’s father is after his own personal gains rather than the well-being of his children while adding that he had never cared for the children and was only using them for himself.
“Is it justice for Mohbad you’re looking for? Is he your sibling? Do you want Justice or you’re trying to steal money?
“You’re disturbing Nigerians; dribbling them left and right. Have you forgotten you have your own children? What you’re making my son face, you shall face it too.
You thief! I give you three days to do DNA; you’ll know that Baba Mohbad is not the biological father of Mohbad.
“You know I’m married to someone else. He’s not the owner of those kids; he’s just taking money on their behalf and you say you’re looking for justice for Mohbad.”
The leaked audio has been met with mixed reactions as many dragged her over her deception.

Recall that after the death of the singer, reports made rounds that the singer’s mother abandoned him and his elder sister after her crashed marriage to their father.
Mohbad’s paternal aunt, accused his mother, Mrs. Olumiyi of abandoning her children, including Mohbad, when they were young. This abandonment, she claimed, was due to her relationship with another man and being pregnant leading her to leave her marriage and children behind.
Her younger sister, however, in a video obtained by Instablog9ja, debunked the reports as she recounted how Mohbad’s mother stood by his side, even during his ordeal with Naira Marley.
She noted how Mohbad’s mother was there for him during his trials with his former label boss, Naira Marley, and how she stood by him and his wife when they welcomed their son.
