Omowunmi, the wife of the late fast-rising singer, Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba better known as Mohbad has cried out to God.
The mother of one whose son with Mohbad would be turning 1 very soon, via her Instagram story noted how no female deserves to go through the pain she is currently experiencing.
She stated that she doesn’t the pain of any of her enemies as she noted how their son will be turning one in a few weeks without his father. Expressing how much she misses him she wrote,
“No female deserves to go through this. Haaaa I don’t wish this pain on my enemy. Liam will clock 1 year in a few weeks without Dada. I miss my baby so much”.
Refreshing your memory, Mohbad a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, tragically passed away at 27 under unclear circumstances on September 12, 2023. Following his death, videos made rounds of him being bullied by his former boss and his members. The Nigeria Police are still trying to unravel the mystery behind his death.
In February, Omowunmi had penned a heartbreaking note to him. In a lengthy post on her Instagram story, she described the nights as colder without him, as she revealed that the pain in her heart cuts deeper by the day than she ever thought possible.
Calling him the cherished husband of her youth and father of their child, she stated that it feels surreal and reality hasn’t fully sunken in for her since he departed.
She added that she is assured he hears her whenever she pours out her heart to him in the middle of the night.
During the Coroner’s Inquest last year, Omowunmi spoke out on her late husband’s ordeal with his former label boss, Naira Marley, and how she met the embattled singer.
According to her, things took a downward spiral when Mohbad asked for a change in manager and ended up receiving threats from them, which made him unstable, and he left with zero money in his account.
She further disclosed that her husband had begun experiencing discomfort after receiving an injection administered by a nurse, which led to him vomiting.
Also, Omowunmi opened up on the cause of her rift with the singer’s father, Joseph Aloba, who has been launching several attacks on her.
Omowunmi revealed that Mohbad’s father thought she was the mastermind behind the singer’s change of heart towards him. She disclosed that she and her father-in-law were extremely close until she birth to her son, Liam and things turned sour between the two.
Omowunmi claimed that Mohbad’s father had asked for their son’s placenta and Mohbad had refused, hence, his hatred for her, as he believes she is the strong force behind him.
