Nollywood actress Mosun Filani otherwise known as Ayaba Oduoye, has expressed pride in her daughter, Semilore, as she graduates with flying colours.
Taking to her Instagram page to share photos and clips from the graduation ceremony, she revealed that her daughter didn’t just graduate; she graduated as head girl and with flying colours.
Expressing gratitude to God, she noted how it was like yesterday when her daughter was in school and rained prayers on her.
“See who just graduated… She did not just graduate, but she did as the head girl and with flying colours….. Thank u, Lord Jesus, for this milestone.
Just like yesterday… I pray God Almighty continue to guide and protect u increase u in wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
And u will continue to make us proud, OLUWASEMILORE!”.
Last year, Mosun Filani Oduoye expressed pride as her daughter overcame her fears at her school’s graduation. The movie star’s daughter had given a graduation speech in French, which had wowed many. Mosun expressed pride in her daughter as she mocked herself.
Mosun Filani’s daughter adds to the list of celebrity kids graduating this year. Last month, Monalisa Chinda was left emotional as her daughter, Tamar Lily, graduated from High school. The proud mother shared adorable videos from the graduation ceremony on her Instagram page as she penned an appreciation post to everyone who made the day possible. She noted how it takes a village to raise a kid.
Comedian Ayo Makun shared beautiful moments from his daughter’s ceremony and showed off the beautiful collection of awards her daughter received at her graduation. The comedian reunited with his estranged wife, Mabel, to cheer on their daughter.
Also, legendary singer 2face’s first daughter with his babymama Pero Adeniyi had graduated from High school. Her proud mother and her lover were on ground at the ceremony to show support for the graduate. Noticeably absent at the ceremony was her famous father.
