Nigerian singer Mr Eazi has shared the keys to success as he advises young men.
In an interview with a Gambian content creator, who bumped into him and his wife, Temi Otedola, on the streets of London, he revealed that marrying a supportive spouse is one of the principles of success.
He also shared that discipline, patience and the fear of God are among the keys to success.
While speaking on the challenges in the music industry that have defined his success, Eazi said the difficulty of unbelief when being second-guessed turned into something that drives him as well.
He explained that when one is born into Nigeria, they have the drive to get it and have that self-belief.
“The difficulty of unbelief when you’re being second-guessed, you could turn it into something that drives you as well.”
If you’re born in Nigeria, more often than not, you have that drive to go get it, and you’ve that self-belief. I don’t know how to explain it. You just see it in a Nigerian, even in the way we walk. The audacity. Maybe, it’s in the eba and soup [laughs].”
Refreshing your memory, Mr Eazi engaged his longtime lover, Temi Otedola, on Sunday, April 10, 2022. Speaking on why she accepted his proposal, Temi said she felt a sense of peace with him, like she had found her soulmate, and she had never felt it with anyone else.
The couple revealed, in an interview, that they would love to have only family members attend their wedding, with no more than ten people.
Keeping to their words, Mr Eazi, in 2023, confirmed that they were married as he debunked reports of keeping their marriage/wedding secret. He said the Music video of his song, ‘Legalise’, was the footage of their wedding in Venice and was proof that he didn’t keep his wedding secret. He stated that their outfits in the video weren’t just costumes, as he urged people to rewatch the video.
Temi Otedola had melted hearts with her birthday message for her husband. Calling him her forever person, she said her life changed when she met him. She revealed that over the last eight years, he has inspired her, supported her and continually shown that he is the kindest soul she has ever come across.
