Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of late Nollywood actor, Mr Ibu has left many questioning if she knew the actor was about to die following the new change she made to his TikTok account.
The socialite had changed his TikTok account, which has over 1 million followers to hers and had deleted all the actor’s photos. According to reports, the changes to the account were done before his demise. This wouldn’t be surprising as Jasmine seems to have parted ways with the actor following the allegation of defrauding the late actor.

Early this year, Jasmine and Mr Ibu’s son were rearrested by the police and were awaiting court charges. However, Jasmine shut down the reports by sharing a video of her and actor, Deyemi Okanlawon.
Two weeks later, the Nigerian police confirmed that it had re-arrested her son, Daniel Onyeabuchi for allegedly defrauding the actor of the sum of N55 million.
The investigation unearthed text messages via WhatsApp between Jasmine and Daniel detailing how they conspired and hatched their criminal plans. It was also exposed that the two had a sham marriage at the Ikoyi Magistrate Registry with plans to escape from the country to the UK where they intended to settle with their proceeds of crime.
Taking to her YouTube page a week back, Jasmine shed light on the incident as she narrated how she met the actor, who was a friend to her late father and had acted as a father figure to her following his demise.
Jasmine stated that she wouldn’t describe the past 3 months as hell, rather she would want to give thanks to God in all situations. She stated that she didn’t want to speak up at first, but she had to tell her truth because she felt she had been abused and used.
Recall that it was alleged that Jasmine was in an intimate relationship with Mr Ibu and it was confirmed when an audio leaked online of Mr Ibu admitting to it.
In the alleged audio, Mr Ibu was conversing with a woman, who questioned if he was aware that Jasmine was only using him for fame and was now sleeping with his son following his illness.
This corroborated his wife’s claim during an online rant that her husband was sleeping with Jasmine, an allegation which they both denied.
