Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of veteran actor, John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu, and his son have been allegedly rearrested by the police.
According to reports making rounds, the actor’s children were rearrested on Wednesday and locked up in the cell and are awaiting court charges. Information reaching Kemi Filani has it that they would be charged to court today, Thursday, January 18th for refusing to release and hand over everything including social media accounts to his wife, Stella Maris.
The reports also stated that the ailing actor I recuperating and has ordered his possessions should be handed over to his wife.

Kemi Filani reported that following Mr Ibu’s hospitalization, reports claimed that his wife, Stella wanted to take over the donation money to fund her lavish lifestyle. Instagram blogger, Gistlover also claimed that Mr Ibu’s wife had used her account to get N1 million from the donation.
Reacting to it, Stella Maris alleged that Jasmine was trying to make her an outsider in her marriage. Describing her statement as malicious, she vowed to address Jasmine’s excessive interference in her family affairs and other related matters.
Refuting her claims, Mr Ibu’s son, Daniel revealed that he is the one in charge of the actor’s account, as he is the signatory to the account and his next of kin.
Following this, Stella ordered their arrest, and blogger, Cutie Juls had exposed Ibu’s son and Jasmine for misusing his donation money. The blog claimed that they were using the donation money to fund their travel expenses.
However, they were later released and cleared of all charges. We wonder what went wrong again!!
Speaking on Mr Ibu, the last time the actor was in the news was following his second amputation. According to Vanguard, part of the same leg that was initially amputated was cut off.
Reports had it that his health was deteriorating and it had gotten to the stage that he hardly talked again. This information was confirmed by Dr. Emeka Rollas, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, who also gave an update on his health status, revealing that he, as well as others, resigned the actor to fate.
