Award-winning skit maker and content creator, Debo Adebayo popularly known as Mr Macaroni has recounted his first meeting with singer, Davido.
Taking to his Instagram page, the skit maker revealed that he met Davido for the first time in 2029 and told him how his dad, Dr. Deji Adeleke was their first Elder in SDA Magodo.
He also told the singer how his dad bought him his first ever laptop which he used in school and how his dad was always sending him money.
Mr Macaroni disclosed that he wasn’t prepared for Davido’s response as the singer invited him into his house.
Speaking on Timeless concert, Mr Macaroni described the concert as a movie.
He mentioned how the singer’s music always lifts his soul.
“Omo!!! Yesterday was a Movie!!!! A Timeless Experience to cherish Forever!!!! First day I met Davido sometime in 2020, I told him how his dad Dr. Deji Adeleke was our First Elder in SDA Magodo then….and how his dad bought me my first ever laptop which I used in school. I was always calling him from school to send me money and he never said No neither did he block my Number. That Day, Davido said, “Make we dey go my house”. So if you saw me jumping anyhow yesterday, na the joy and happiness cause am. Beyond Davido’s gracious heart, his music lifts my soul!!!

Recall that last year, Davido spilled some tea about his family’s relationship with Mr Macaroni.
In a video shared online by Udu Music, Nigeria’s first indigenous music streaming platform, Davido spoke at length about his longtime relationship with the skit maker.
He revealed that his late mother bought Mr Macaroni his first phone.
“The famous comedian, Mr Macaroni. Very famous in Nigeria and quitely, my mum bought him his first phone. So like when he told me that stuff like that… He told me anywhere he will ever see me whether I am greater than him or he is greater than me, he will always be there for me”.
Davido was no doubt saying the truth as Kemi Filani recalls Mr Macaroni had once admitted to it.
In January 2022, Mr Macaroni said that Deji Adeleke, father to singer Davido, bought him his first laptop ever.
The entertainer took to his Twitter page to state that Adeleke was one of his greatest inspirations, who taught him the act of giving and helping others.
In a Twitter thread, the comedian wrote, “If you think Davido is a great giver or is easily accessible, then you need to meet his dad, Dr. Deji Adeleke. Dr. Adeleke is one of my greatest inspirations. Since the days of SDA Magodo, I learned the art of giving and helping others from him.
“When I first got admission into the university, Dr. Deji Adeleke bought me my first laptop ever. For every time I needed money in school, all it took was for me to send a text message. I abused the access, but he remained kind and generous.
God bless you, Chairman. Thank you for everything. This is why I rarely get upset when it comes to these matters. Through Chairman, I learned simplicity, humility, and above all, love”.
