Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola has expressed gratitude to her creator for making her bounce back better after enduring several challenges.
Taking to her Instagram page, the Yoruba movie star shared a video of herself as she noted how her skin is glowing.
She credited her new look to her bounce back as she noted how she has gone through a lot.
Wumi Toriola added that she is already tripping on herself.
“The glow after coming back from a lot is lit.
I con dey foh for myself.
Thank you, Lord”.
We wonder what the actress means by ‘coming from a lot’ but recall that early this year, Wumi announced she is a divorcee.
The movie producer had confirmed that her marriage had crashed after barely three years.
Subtly informing her fans on her Instagram page, the actress posted a TikTok video of herself having to choose between single and married status. After minutes of dancing around the married option, she eventually settled for the single option.
Also on Christmas day, the actress spent her day with her son and friends without her husband.
And then in a post for the new year, the actress while reflecting revealed that in 2022 she walked away from a domestic violent and abusive relationship for her sanity’s sake.

However, her estranged husband had a different story to tell to the world about their crashed marriage.
While speaking on their failed marriage, he said that their marriage was filled with violence, deceit, and betrayal on Wumi Toriola’s part.
Her estranged husband made this known to his new Igbo girlfriend, who leaked their conversation to Instagram blogger, Gistlover.
The blogger claimed that a lady had reached out to her when she broke the news of the couple’s crashed marriage. The lady claimed that she was dating Wumi’s husband and he had denied being married.
After confirming that her new man was the Actress’s ex, she confronted him and he opened up to her about his ‘toxic marriage’.
Although not going deeper, the father of one revealed that his marriage to the actress was an ugly one, filled with physical assault and deceit. Describing his marriage as a total regret, he further alleged that Wumi physically assaulted his mother.

Disputing his claims, Wumi Toriola in a lengthy post on her Instagram page debunked the report.
She stated that she had never been physical with her mother-in-law or her mother and she has witnesses to back her up.
She revealed that her marriage had crashed for over a year now, and she didn’t need to air it out on social media because there was no need for the drama.
