Nollywood actress, Debbie Shokoya had deactivated her husband as her slave driver.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Debbie penned an appreciation post to him, calling him her better half. She stated that getting married to someone who believes in her dreams and vision is such a blessing.
She revealed that when she tells her husband she wants to fly, he always encourages her rather than being selfish. She appreciated him for standing by her during the shooting of her movie.

Last year was a challenging time for the couple, who lost their first child.
In August 2023, Debbie in an emotional video on her Instagram page, tearfully recounted how she lost her pregnancy at 8 months.
According to her, everyone knew she was pregnant and she had even traveled out expecting to return with her child, but unfortunately, things happened and she had a miscarriage.
Making an appeal to the public, she noted how she sacrificed and went through a lot for her unborn child and even bonded with her child so well before the loss.
In recent news, the movie star released a new movie that she dedicated to her child. She noted how some pain never goes away, and admitted that even though it’s traumatizing, it makes one stronger.
Dedicating her movie to her child, she credited her dead child for making her know she could sacrifice without giving a second thought, and added that she wishes she could home him again.
