Following actress Funke Akindele’s arrest, the Police have asked her husband JJC Skillz and music superstar Naira Marley to report on Monday for interrogation on the birthday party hosted by the former.
Kemi Filani News recalls that Funke had hosted the party in honour of her husband, JJC Skillz on Saturday and Naira Marley was one of the stars that attended.
The house party held in an Estate along Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, contravening the Government’s restriction order on COVID-19 pandemic.
While Akindele was arrested on Sunday after the video of the party went viral, the Police called on Naira Marley and JJC Skillz to give up themselves or risk being declared wanted.
Lagos Police spokesperson, DSP Bala Elkana, in a statement on Sunday evening, said: “Funke Akindele was arrested. The investigation is ongoing, efforts are intensified to arrest the remaining persons in the video, among whom are Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley and Abdul Rasheed Bello a.k.a. JJC Skillz.
“They are in their best interests urged to report at the State CID Yaba on Monday 6th April 2020 or risk being declared wanted.”
Meanwhile fans of the actress have called out JJC skillz for running away and not being there for his wife while being arrested.
One Funke Ajayi wrote “It is a shame that her husband is nowhere to be found, he caused the whole ish by uploading videos from the party on Insta stories and now he has disappeared instead of owning up, big shame on him”
Another one wrote “So the husband left her and went to hide when police came. Moral of the story: Men will embarrass you”
One Flexyrecka on Instagram wrote “Wawuuuuu….hustle ooooo, so they won’t arrest your wife over a crime you committed”
