Nollywood actress Nancy Isime is one of the most prominent actresses of her time, and it seems that her talents have been recognized globally too. At a recent award in Uganda, called the Ikon Awards, Nancy Isime was awarded as Africa’s Rising Star. This category is not a small feat to achieve because it encompasses all African actors as a whole.
In the post she made on Instagram to celebrate her win, Nancy Isime wrote, “AFRICA RISING STAR In order to achieve world dominance, one must first dominate their roots. One step at a time, One day at a time, One Intentional Seed at a time. Soon, the Global Stage will be home to Us, it Proudly Nigerian, Proudly African Va; Thank you @ikonawards, Thank you Uganda God remains the Greatest”
Nancy Isime has been in the game for over a decade, and she has put in a lot of work in her craft. Just recently, she got an award from the NAACP Awards, alongside actor Kunle Remi, who won the trailblazer award.
Apart from acting, Nancy Isime also works as a host, and has hosted a lot of award shows, including the Ikon Awards in Uganda. She also has her own show, where she hosts celebrities and they discuss various topics.
