Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate, Neo Akpofure has finally addressed rumors of sleeping with comedian, Ayo Makun aka AY’s estranged wife, Mabel Makun.
Kemi Filani reported that Stella Dimoko Korkus alleged that the interior designer wife of the comedian had an affair with the reality star which created issues in their now crashed marriage.
A troll, via the micro-blogging platform Twitter now known as X, had questioned if the rumors were true as he slammed the reality star for being a womanizer.
“Did u sleep with AY’s wife or not? First-time weh I de hear abt Ashawo man”.
Replying him, Neo Akpofure prayed for God to punish his father as he blamed the media for constantly trying to tarnish his reputation over things he knows nothing about. He wondered what his name would be doing in such a conversation as he made it known that he was done ignoring things.
“Nah God go punish your papa!!!
I don’t blame you! I blame the stup! media that constantly tries to tarnish my reputation over things I know nothing about because wtf is my name doing in this conversation in the first place! I’m done ignoring, I get una time!”.
In a previous tweet, he has prayed for God to punish those peddling false rumors about him.
“May God punish all of you that wake up in your houses to cook rumors about me! May you continue to sit on your dreams but have just enough data to watch me live mine. Had enough of this BS!”.
It is no longer news that the comedian’s marriage has hit the rock after almost two decades.
Confirming his crashed marriage in an Instagram post, AY expressed regrets for losing his home which had taken him almost 20 years to build, and also admitted to doing things that were compromising during the marriage.
He however warned against projecting the wrong narrative about him and his his family, which he found injurious to his teenage daughter.
Hinting at the possible fault from his wife, Ayo Makun claimed no one is completely innocent and stated that “women always play the victims and win”.
His estranged wife, also broke her silence, stating that her dreams of a lifelong marriage had now taken a different direction and she was committed to moving forward with grace and resilience.
The mother of two, pleaded with the media and public to give her and her estranged husband privacy as they navigate their new phase. She noted how many lies have been peddled against her and attacks orchestrated on the social media space but she will honor her kids by not addressing them. However, she made it known that her silence shouldn’t be misunderstood and also AY deserves a certain level of respect.
