Legendary Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia also known as 2Face or 2Baba, has been subjected to backlash online after making a live statement on Nigerian politics.
The iconic singer was captured on a live Instagram session urging Nigerians to participate in the coming 2023 general elections rather than mere talking.
The singer claimed nothing could happen in the country unless everybody participated in the election by fulfilling their civic duties.
He said: Nothing can happen again except everybody participate.
If you don’t participate, you dont have to talk. You don’t have the right to talk if you don’t participate.
Reacting to this development, netizens backlashed him for asking everyone to participate in politics rather than managing his alleged crumbling home.

Moreover, some fans of 2Face supported his claim by accepting his point of view on the upcoming general elections.
Kemi Filani recalls that 2Face finally reacted to his alleged crashed marriage reports. The singer lashed out at those oppressing his wife, Annie, over the fake reports surrounding their marriage.
Protecting his wife, 2Face warned Nigerians to stop bullying his wife over meaningless issues.
“Una too like to dey bully people for this social media, I no understand. Make una just leave my wife alone. Abeg. Make una leave am alone”.
“Una can like to read nonsense meaning to everything. Can’t somebody feel free again”.
