Mixed reactions have trailed the appointment of media personality, Ajuri Obari Ngelale as the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
Kemi Filani reported on Monday that the President, Bola Tinubu, had appointed Ajuri Ngelale as Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
The announcement was contained in a statement by the Director of Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government, Willie Bassey.
He said the appointment takes effect from Monday.
Reacting to his appointment, Ajuri expressed gratitude to the President for the honor, with a promise to give his best as always.
“I am most humbled and honored by H.E President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recognition of the need for more hard work ahead as I have been appointed as his Official Spokesperson & Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity”.
His appointment has however been met with mixed reactions as many compared him to the former Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed.
