Some social media users have slammed award-winning music star Davido for gifting his friend and talent manager, Ubi Franklin, a new car.
The talent manager shared the good news on his Instagram page hours ago as he appreciated Davido’s sweet gesture. He noted how the singer knows how to do what’s right for his people as he expressed gratitude to him and affirmed his love for him.
“Davido just gifted me a car. Bro, thank you for everything. I love you.

The news didn’t impress many as they noted how the singer couldn’t afford to buy his daughter with his first babymama, Imade a car, nor pay her school fees, yet, was spoiling his inner circles with cars.

Kemi Filani reported that a few days before his traditional wedding, Davido had filed a suit, seeking joint custody of his daughter, as he claimed Sophia was denying him access to her and extorting money from him, which she denied. Sophia had revealed that the Range Rover Davido gifted Imade years back was secondhand, and he had refused to pay half of their accommodation and Imade’s school fees.
A week later, she had opposed his joint custody battle, citing the death of his son, among others, as reasons the singer was unfit to raise their daughter on his own.
