The new Ife queen was ushered into the palace after brief rites at the entrance of the premises before she was led into the inner court of the palace to meet her husband and other guests waiting to receive her.
Following the grand reception, Queen Mariam Ogunwusi made her first official post on Instagram a few hours ago by sharing photos from her wedding, where she finally met her husband.
The new queen accompanied her wedding photos with a love emoji, a declaration of her love for her husband.
The Ife Queen’s new page boasts a thousand followers a few hours after her declaration.
Amidst the new Ife Queen celebrations, netizens took to social media to express displeasure with the king by mocking his marriage pattern. Some queried the new wife for accepting the marriage proposal after how the king’s wife separated from him.
