In a recent development, Laura Ikeji has taken a swipe at the producers of Real Housewives of Lagos, specifically calling out a particular cast member Dr. Rommel.
Laura Ikeji expressed her discontent, suggesting that if the show plans to include a gay man in the midst of a largely female cast, they should at least opt for individuals with positive qualities. She criticized Dr. Romm, known for being gay and cross-dresser, labeling him a waste of screen time and an embarrassment to the LGBTQ community.
This is coming following accusations aimed at Dr. Rommel where he was accused of dishonesty on the show, particularly in clashes with fellow cast member Morey Faith. Dr Rommel has also been accused by viewers of sparking conflicts among cast members.
“Next time u gonna bring a gay man to join a show with ladies, pls bring those amazing ones. The Igbta community has so many pure souls.
Rommel is a waste of screen time n an embarrassment to that community.”
This controversy follows Laura Ikeji’s recent clash with actress Iyabo Ojo, which she dragged into the spotlight about a week ago. Laura visibly pregnant, criticized Iyabo Ojo for consistently getting on her nerves and attempting to bully her. She revealed a history of altercations, expressing that she has reached a point where she has zero respect for Iyabo Ojo, withdrawing any past apologies.
Laura Ikeji also vowed to reveal a hidden side of her once she was no longer pregnant and to confront Iyabo Ojo.
Laura Ikeji stated that during the reunion, where she won’t be pregnant, she won’t shy away from any confrontation.
