In a recent development, controversial Twitter personality Daniel Rega has taken to his Twitter to express that Nigerians won the football match with South Africa by sheer luck.
Recall that some few hours ago, Nigeria and South Africa had engaged in a football match and Nigeria had come out victorious.
This had pushed Nigeria into the finals in the AFCON football competition. Daniel Regha went on to express that Nigeria’s midfield was so flat up until the 62nd minute and that the entire team were almost outplayed.
However, he did give kudos to goalkeeper as he expressed that the goalkeeper, Nwabali had done an excellent job. In his words, he says,
“Nigerian won but by many luck. Super Eagles performance was greatly disappointing. Nigeria’s midfield was so flat up until the 62nd minute and even after that, the team were almost outplayed. The determination was not really there. South Africa played the better game, truth be told, but kudos to goalkeeper Nwabali. He alone did an excellent job.”
Also recall that last week, Daniel had slammed political figure Peter Obi for leaving Nigeria to travel to Ivory Coast to watch the Nigerian vs Angola football match. He had expressed that the only people who are allowed to travel to watch football matches and tournaments are only entertainment figures in the industry, not actual political figures.
