A concerned individual and Tiktoker known as naijashimada has taken to social media to express his disappointment with Nigerian female artists for their perceived silence in the face of Mohbad’s tragic passing. He didn’t hold back, asserting that they are the “craziest” people in the music industry.
Following the heart-wrenching news of Mohbad’s untimely death, this man took it upon himself to point out what he saw as a troubling trend. He noted that none of the prominent female musicians, including names like Tems, Ayra Starr, Omawumi, Simi, and even Tiwa Savage, had posted about Mohbad’s passing or called for justice in his case. In his view, their continued silence was a stark contrast to the urgency of the situation.
“Nigerian female artists are the most cr@z!€st people in the music industry”
The circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death had taken on an ominous tone, and various voices within and outside the music industry had clamored for the truth to be revealed. Many individuals had expressed their concerns and sought answers, but, as the man observed, the Nigerian female artists seemed conspicuously absent from this conversation.
In contrast, he pointed out that male artists, including the likes of Davido, Portable, Olamide, and Samklef, had been more vocal in addressing the issue and demanding justice. This divergence in responses had raised eyebrows and led to questions about why female artists were not taking a more active role in advocating for Mohbad’s case.
While so many people had a lot to say concerning his statement, one commenter had this to say

“This is so correct! I totally see valid points in what this guy just said, let’s be sincere with ourself we can’t stand in unity and be broken, just the same way a single person or few couple of people can’t not dominate a place completely. Mohbad was also a part of the Nigeria Music Art! If something affects one of them it’s more like affecting the whole of them because one umbrella Carrie’s them all, being quiet and minding our business shouldn’t be an everyday thing, sometimes learn to speak up and lend a voice, look at that end sars era when everyone woke up! Didn’t we gain what we wanted ? Now imagine everyone had used that same energy especially the artiste the force alone would have yield a positive result. We need to do better FR! 100”
