Fans of award winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid’s expressed displeasure as their favorite lose the Grammy.
Sunday night, April 3rd, 2022 left many fans of Wizkid dejected as he lost his Grammy win to Beninese singer, Angelique Kidjo.
Taking to various comment section to pour out their anger, Nigerians furiously attacked Angelique for always clinching the Grammy award.
Recall that in 2020, Burna Boy was in a tie with the singer for his Twice As Tall album, which he didn’t win.
Fortunately for him, he won his first ever Grammy award on 2021.
Many of Wizkid’s fans couldn’t fathom how the singer won the award over Wizkid’s most talked about song, Essence.

Kemi Filani news recalls Bobo Ajudua better known as Prince, the legal practitioner for popular singer, Davido surprised many as he pitched tent with Wizkid.
The lawyer questioned how Angelique Kidjo song, ‘Mother Nature’ beats Wizkid’s Essence to win the Best Global Music Album.
Giving his two cents, Davido’s lawyer took to his Twitter page to console the singer.
He stated that Wizkid deserved to win as his song gave the world a national anthem.
He tweeted, “I don’t know much, and don’t speak much on these things, but we ALL KNOW that award belonged to ‘Essence’. They gave the world an ANTHEM”.
