Nigerian Afropop singer Yemi Alade got more than she bargained for online after announcing the release of her new song moments ago.
It is no news that many singers would always take to their social media page to announce the release of their song to keep their fans anticipating the release, which is no different for Yemi Alade.
Taking to the microblogging platform Twitter, Yemi Alade wrote: New music is coming.
This earned her many backlashes from Nigerians. While some questioned when she started announcing the release of her song, some claimed that she is yet to drop any hit song after one of her hit songs ‘Johnny’.

Kemi Filani News recalls Yemi Alade disclosed her birthday wish ahead of her 33rd birthday.
The singer revealed that she desires to work towards intentionally being better at communicating her feelings.
