Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ housemate Nina Ivy has spoken about early childbirth.
On her Snapchat page, the reality star admitted that she always wanted to be a young mum, especially in her 20s. She stated that she didn’t even mind getting a sperm donor if that would have been an option for her. Nina expressed how glad she is that she didn’t know fame got in her way as she enjoys being a mum and still wants to have a daughter before she turns 30.
Admonishing her fans, she stated that as long as they have the resources to care for a child, they can have a baby. She added that they will be proud of themselves when the time comes. She, however, made it known that everyone’s options are different.
“As long as you have the resources to take care of a child, have that baby, honey. You will be so proud of yourself when the time comes.
I have always wanted to be a young mum, especially in my 20s. I didn’t even mind getting a sperm donor if that was the only option, I’m so glad I didn’t let fake get in my way. I love being a mum, and I still want to have a daughter before I turn 30.
Like I said, everyone’s opinion is different”.
In another post, she reaffirmed that the best thing she did for herself was to have her kids early. She stated that though other people’s reasoning might be different, what others will go through at the age of 35, she has already gone through all of that process before the age of 30.
Further enlightening her fans, she avowed that health-wise, the odds of conceiving are increased in one’s 20s as getting pregnant at such age reduces chances of having a pregnancy complication.
“It’s really not; the best thing I did for myself is having my kids early. Everyone’s reasoning might be different, tho. But what you will go through at the age of 35 I have already gone through all of that process before the age of 30.
Health-wise, Your odds of conceiving are increased in your 20s. Getting pregnant during this time also reduces your chances of having a pregnancy complication.
Also, it’s easier to lose pregnancy weight and regain fitness levels after giving birth at a younger age. So think about it”.
Kemi Filani reported in 2020 that Nina Ivy welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Denzel, with her ex-lover, Anthony.
The reality star married in October 2022 to an African-Amërican, Chris Miller. The couple reportedly met sometime in 2021 and dated for seven months before finally tying the knot privately in court in the USA.
According to different sources, the duo had their court marriage in April 2022, and Nina Ivy has since changed her name on all her social media platforms to her husband’s name, Nina Ivy Miller.
In 2023, the reality star welcomed her second child, whose name and identity she has kept under wraps. In a social media post in April, Nina Ivy revealed that she was a mother of two and her second child was 16 months old. Speaking on why she hasn’t posted her second son, Nina said she would post the child when she was ready.
In other news, while celebrating her first son’s 4th birthday, she narrated the ordeal she went through when her son was born. She revealed that her son was in the NICU fighting for his life for months while she was also on a life support machine fighting for her life. Before then, Nina had revealed that she had almost named her son Miracle. However, she did not do that because people would have assumed she had named him after her ex.
