Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has penned note to her late mother following her meeting with the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke.
Hours ago, Kemi Filani reported that Nkechi had attended the birthday party of the Governor’s son, who is also singer Davido’s cousin, B-Red. Nkechi and met with the Governor, who, alongside his nephew Davido, officially changed her name to ‘Nkechi Adeleke’.
During a conversation with Governor Adeleke, he surprised Nkechi as he revealed that he knows her, especially for her past controversial lifestyle. However, Nkechi told him she had changed and didn’t look for trouble again. She stated that if anyone abuses her, she will gladly ignore them as she cheered on herself for her growth.
Now, taking to her Instagram story, she questioned if her mother was watching her converse with the governor as she expressed her love for her.
“Hey, Mummy, NBS was chilling with the Governor of Osun State today. I just thought to tell you. Did you see us from heaven? Love you forever, Mummy”.
In another post, Nkechi revealed that the one thing she loves about the Adelekes is their humility.
“You fit make Governor laugh? I no be comedian oo. I am just one very happy girl with so much positive vibes. And one thing I respect the Adelekes for is their humility”.
Recall that Nkechi Blessing’s mother died barely five days before her birthday in 2021. Announcing her mother’s death, Blessing penned an emotional tribute for her mother as she recounted how she had been working day and night to ensure her mother did not beg for food. Nkechi said if doctors had requested money to keep her mother, she would have begged the world to help her.
Nkechi Blessing narrated how her mother died and wondered how she would face the world with her mother. She expressed pain over the fact that her mother didn’t live to see the house she wanted to gift her.
In September 2022, Nkechi marked her mother’s first remembrance. The actress went to the streets and gave out food and water. Just days after the remembrance, Nkechi celebrated her mother’s posthumous birthday in a controversial style. She held a little party to host a few friends, where she shared a dildo as a souvenir.
In December, she recounted her tearful visit to her mother’s graveside in Ibadan. Nkechi revealed she told her about her new man, Xxssive, her son’s brilliant performances in school, her latest achievements and lots more. She added that she could feel her mother’s voice telling her to be strong and courageous.
