Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has reacted following a fake proposal from her boyfriend, Eseoghene Obire better known as Xxssive.
The couple, who reunited on Monday after months of sparking break-up rumors, have been tensioning the internet with their loved-up video.
In a video online, Xxssive was captured proposing to the single mother of one, who he has been dating for over three years. In the clip, the comedian was seen putting a ring on Nkechi’s finger as he threw a kiss at her.
Taking to her Instagram story, Nkechi questioned if online in-laws aren’t the ones telling people to marry their best friends.
“Abi no be Una say marry your best friend. Abi una don change mouth? Na wah for una oo!!”.
Kemi Filani reported on Monday that Xxssive had surprised Nkechi at her pop-up beauty launch. In a video captured online, Nkechi, who was caught off guard with his appearance fell to the ground in tears as people gathered to help her up.
Addressing her haters, Nkechi shared a loved-up video of her cradling her boyfriend, as she noted how they are looking for chemistry online. The movie star stated that when she has a full-blown real life outside the gram, she will show you only what she wants people to see. She told her haters to make their assumption as it doesn’t concern her and her finances.
For months, break-up rumors had trailed Nkechi’s relationship with Xxssive, who she started dating in 2021 after her failed relationship with Ekiti State politician, Opeyemi Falegan.
Back in October, Nkechi had addressed those querying her for not posting her man. She told those who believed she and Xxssive had broken up to keep believing it as she noted how Instagram wasn’t real life. Nkechi made it known that the last thing she lacks in her life is love.
Before the break-up rumors, Nkechi revealed that she was ready for marriage following the pressure from Davido and Sharon Ooja’s wedding. Thinking of a possible hashtag for her and her boyfriend Xxssive, Nkechi noted how love is sweet and a beautiful thing as she admonished her fans and followers not to believe otherwise.
Sometime back, the curvy actress, had responded to those shaming her for dating younger men. Nkechi stated that such men stay winning.
