In a recent development, Divine Ikubor known professionally as Rema, has taken to the X-Platform to address Nigerians concerning their popular Afrobeat conception.
He revealed that there was no longer just Big 3, but Big 4. He further stated that Afrobeat is bigger and better than any other thing.
Most Nigerians are popular for categorizing Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid in the Big 3 category which translates to them being the biggest artists in Africa.
Rena’s statement suggests that he should now be officially added to that category. Judging from his musical collaborations and his achievements in the past few years, netizens believe that his statement is well worth it.
In his words, he had this to say,
“ no more Big 3, there is now a Big 4. Afrobeat greater than Afro anything.”
Also recall that In the beginning of the year, Rema had made an exclusive assurance to Billionaire Tony Elumelu after he visited him at his mansion. He assured the businessman that he was bringing home the 2024 Grammys.
In one of the clips, Rema could also be seen meeting the billionaire’s wives and sons, who all posed for a photo with the award-winning singer.
Also, just two weeks ago, Rema had reacted following a malfunction during his stage performance at Dreamville Fest. The Countdown crooner is seen in a viral video, angrily walking off the stage due to production issues.
Before walking off the stage, he addressed the poor sound issues, noting how he was on stage and they were messing up his performance. He hd also stated that he was not feeling the performance at all, as things were already messed up.
