Apostle Suleman, the General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries International, has stated that Nigerian Pastors are more involved in Charity and humanitarian exercises than the Nigerian Government.
During his sermon on Sunday 22nd July 2018, the popular cleric speaking vehemently, cited some convincing examples to buttress his point as he noted that most of the help rendered by the church of God are not announced for public consumption.
In his lengthy sermon, he mentioned the benevolence of the Redeemed Christian Church God, amongst others and some of his long lasting charitable works which sounded like news to the congregation as they were unaware of the recent remarkable help he said he carried out for some people
From the message, one can decipher that the church/pastors deserve credits inspite of popular opinion as most of the help rendered to the society are unannounced
It is gathered that he has placed widows in his church on monthly Salaries,as well as provide food stuffs for them every Thursday of the week
In addition to that, unemployed graduates in his church with exception to those he is yet to find a place for in one of his establishments are placed on salaries.
He also reportedly paid about #200,000 for hospital bill of a woman who is not even a member of his church as she gave had birthed a child but had no funds for her hospital bills
