Nigerian billionaire businessman Obi Cubana has reacted to his friend, Cubana Chief Priest’s ordeal with EFCC.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that the best friend of Davido is set to settle out of court with the commission. The court would hear the settlement report on the 5th of June, 2024.
Speaking out, Cubana admitted that it hasn’t been easy as he stated that problem isn’t good. He warned Nigerians to stay away from EFCC wahala as he noted how settling with them is no joke.
He added that no one would love to pass through the kind of stress he is going through.
In his comment section, Obi Cubana, who once had a similar fate, noted how one would be taken from Vaniti to court. He concurred in his dialect that the stress is plenty.
“From Vaniti to court! Kai, ndi a ma ka e si e stress mmadu walahi”.
Cubana Chief Priest replied with laughing emojis.
It is no longer news that in April Chief Priest was arraigned by the EFCC over the charge of Naira mutilation, amongst others. Pascal arrived before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos, and pleaded not guilty to the charges of naira abuse. The celebrity barman was granted N10 million bail.
Sharing a photo of himself after release, Cubana appreciated those who had checked on him and bragged about being famous with claims that money is water. The likes of Davido, Mercy Eke, IK OgbonnaIsraelal DMW, and others left a message for him.
Making a case for the commission, Cubana Chief Priest told Nigerians there was no need to run when EFCC invited them, as he admonished them to pull up and answer them.
The businessman revealed that in their cell, there is a bed, toilet, and bathroom, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner are being served. Questioning why people are running and how long they would run, he added that EFCC is for big men and, for me, it is a status symbol.
