Nigerian filmmaker Okiki Afolayan has made a lifetime promise to his wife, Bimbo Afolayan, as she celebrates her birthday today.
Taking to his Instagram page, he described Bimbo as the love of his life and his forever wife. He stated that from the moment he met her, he knew she was someone special.
Okiki revealed that his wife lits up the room with her smile, her laughter is music to his ears, and her love is a guiding light. Afolayan said his wife is the reason he wakes up with a smile, the reason he feels alive, and his heart beats faster.
He praised her generosity, kindness, and empathy, which inspire him to be a better person daily. Okiki expressed how grateful he is to celebrate another year of life with her and expressed excitement for the future, the promises yet to be fulfilled, and the love that continues to grow between them.

A day before her birthday, Okiki gushed over Bimbo, declaring her the woman of his dreams and affirming his love for her.
For her birthday last year, Okiki had penned a sweet note to her, expressing how lucky he is to call her his wife, as he noted how she brings so much joy to his life. He described his wife as the most thoughtful, intelligent, and caring person he knows, and he promised to always be her biggest supporter and to be there for her.
While celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary in 2023, Okiki professed his love for his wife as he reflected on how he made the best decision by marrying her. He stated that every day with her has been a roller coaster ride, as she has been the most important part of his life.
