Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill has bagged an honorary award in Ondo State.
The philanthropist, is currently in Ondo with Nollywood stars like, Eniola Badmus, Faithia Williams, Jigan, Bimbo Oshin, and Foluke Daramola, for Ekimogun Day.
Olakunle Churchill was honored with an honorary award for his contribution to his state’s development.
Days back, through his son’s foundation, he had launched a water project, and cleared off the hospital bills of many. He also gave scholarships to students and organized a Charity Love Walk with Person With Disabilities.
Eniola Badmus, shared a video of the priceless moments on her Instagram page.
“EKIMOGUN DAY in Ondo State @olakunlechurchill receive honorary award”.
Also sharing clips from the award day, he wrote,
“Presentation of honorary award to son of the soil Olakunle Churchill”.
This isn’t the first time, Olakunle Churchill has been honored.
Olakunle Churchill bags Chieftaincy title
In 2018, Olakunle Churchill, who is also the chairman of Big church group of companies, was conferred with chieftaincy title in Enugu.
Sharing the photos of the conferment which was done in the presence of Emirs, Obas and Kings, Olakunle Churchill disclosed that he was given the title “Chief Ezinwa Chukwu Mere Eze 1”.
He wrote:
“Celebration in Enugu As I, Dr. Olakunle Churchill Bags Chieftaincy Title ” EZINWA CHUKWU MERE EZE” in Presence of high profile Emirs, Obas, Kings etc, onferredIgwe Dr. Emmanuel Ugwu (Eze Okwe 1 Of Okwe Kingdom, Ibagwa Nike, Enugu East LGA – Enugu State)

He also bagged another Chieftaincy title in 2021.
Olaunkunle Churchill, in excitement, took to his Instagram page to share a video of the event.
He wrote:: Another Chieftaincy title ” Nwanne’di’namba”, coronated by HRH, Igwe Gerald Obunadike Mbamalu (Eze Ojoto III)
