Nollywood actress and new mum Olayinka Solomon has sent an encouraging message to single mothers.
In a joint post with Mercy Aigbe, she said that no woman finds true happiness raising children by different fathers. According to her, it’s a journey often marked by struggle, and not the peace they all seek.
Solomon noted how any man can drop sperm and make a baby, but it takes a real one to stay and raise a child. She further noted how sperm donors are plenty, but real fathers are rare. According to her, making a baby is easy, but sticking around to be a dad is where boys get separated from men.
The Yoruba actress further revealed that a woman with children from different fathers carries a weight few can see as she tries balancing emotions, expectations, and the constant fight for stability.
Sending a message to single mothers, Olayinka told them that their strength is unmatched, their love is unstoppable and their sacrifices are shaping a brighter future. She noted how behind every strong child was a single mother who gave everything even when she felt she had nothing.
