An old video of music star Chinedu Okoli better known as Flavour explaining why he isn’t ready to marry has surfaced online.
Hours ago, his first babymama, Sandra Okagbue had claimed she is married to him as she mourned his late father who died in May. Sandra via her Instagram page shared new photos of herself, along with a caption bading him farewell. She stated that they gather not in sorrow, but in celebration of life, as she noted how her late father-in-law was a remarkable man and would always be an icon to many.
Her description of the singer’s father as her ‘father-in-law’, left many baffled as Flavour has never said he is married. An old video of him explaining why he isn’t married resurfaced online, where he made it clear that he isn’t in a mental space to be with any woman.
According to him, he has to better himself before he can settle down with any woman, or else, he would end up disappointing them or hurting them because of his character.
“You have to be that person for yourself first, and when you’re done with yourself, you start looking for. I am not in that mental space right now, if I tell myself that I am looking for a wife I will fail, many girls that would come my way, I will disappoint them. My character will deal with the woman and it’s no fair, that’s why I decided to remain this way”, he said.

Kemi Filani in 2020 that Flavour had officially married Sandra Okagbue, who was his first babymama. According to reports, the high-life crooner had finalized all marriage rites with Sandra on Monday, August 3, 2020, in Enugu and there was a large crowd who were prevented from using their phones to take photos.
Her sister, Bella Okagbue had stylishly confirmed the marriage during her time in the BBN house as she opened up on her family’s personal life to Phyna.
Bella disclosed to Phyna that her elder sister is married. Though she didn’t reveal who her sister is married to, many believed that she was talking about Flavour.
