“We introduced Nigerian entertainment to the world before Afrobeats” Omotola Ekeinde brags as she shares epic Nollywood movies (Video)

Omotola Ekeinde praises Nollywood movies

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has been left nostalgic over some epic Nollywood movies.

The veteran actress, who has been in the industry for over 2 decades shared clips from some epic Nollywood movies; Yankee Girls, Games Women Play, Blood Sisters, All My Life, and Kosorogun.

The mother of four accompanied the videos with a caption on the pivotal role of how Nollywood introduced Nigeria to the world before the coming in of Afrobeats.

According to her, before the advent of Afrobeats, Nollywood introduced Nigeria to the world despite the low movie quality and lack of social media.

“Someone sent me some of these vids and it was nostalgic…..lol.
Despite the not-so-good quality… No social media…these movies Broke barriers… Way before Afrobeats we introduced Nigerian entertainment to the world. We still”.

Weeks back, Omotola Ekeinde, who relocated to the US with her family had spoken out on how living overseas changed her.

The mother of four, in a post on her Instagram story, revealed that spending two years in the US has made her see many things Nigerians managed and let slide.

Omotola expressed how frustrated she is at the needless suffering Nigerians go through. According to her, we are too intelligent to be suffering.

Sending messages to the average Nigerians, she made them know that suffering isn’t a lesson to brag about as it is evil.

Omotola questioned why people must suffer to get anything done.

In other news, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde had revealed some intimate details about her upbringing including how she almost went into prostitution.

Omotola recounted her childhood experience in a recent interview with Chude Jidenwo.

The mother of four revealed how her father passed away when she was 12 years old, adding it was a tragic incident that left her emotionless as she never grieved his death.

The actress further added that she was close to going into prostitution to survive because of the challenges she faced at a young age.

Omotola Jalade said, “I think everything has been today, positively or negatively was because of the death of my father, it affected me so much because I did not mourn my dad. Read more here.
