Omotunde Adebowale David aka Lolo 1 is celebrating her birthday today. She took to social media where she posted lovely photos of herself in a floral dress to mark her special day.
She is a graduate of Law from the Lagos State University, trained as a lawyer and practiced for 3 years before she switched careers as she had a natural flair and love for communication.
Since switching careers, she has become a multiple award winning On-Air Personality on 95.1 Wazobia FM, TV personality for Wazobia TV, celebrity compere, professional stand-up comedian and also an actress.
She starred as ‘Adaku’ in the popular TV comedy series “Jenifa’s Diary” and now even though we’ve always known Lolo1 from radio, her presence on the series sees her becoming one of the most beloved characters.
Very fluent in Igbo language, people hardly know that she is a Yoruba lady.
Omotunde Adebowale David is a single mother to four beautiful children. In an interview with Azuka Ogujiuba, she spoke about her family and her divorce.
”I have four amazing kids. I have three sons and a daughter. I am single. I met a lot of people saying, ‘Oh my God, this entertainer is divorced.’ Yes, my divorce is a mutual thing. It’s nothing to fight or quarrel about. My family life is private. I will not drag the father of my children on the pages of newspapers. He doesn’t deserve that. It’s not a quarrel; we might have issues that we are dealing with personally as people. But it doesn’t mean that we now have to go and talk about each other (in the public). He’s the father of my children. I respect him for that. It is an important reason we do not talk about it (divorce) on the pages of newspapers”, she said.
