In celebration of his 7th coronation anniversary, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, has given out cash, car and more to his royal aides.
In a statement issued out by the palace spokesperson, Moses Olalere, on Saturday, the monarch handed out appreciation letters and the sum of N100,000 each to five deserving staff members.
The monarch gave out N200,000 to three staff members and N250,000 each to two palace aides.
One aide got N300,000 while three outstanding staff members got one million each.
One of the royal aides won the star prize; a car worth seven million naira.
The Ooni, however, didn’t fail to acknowledge one of his wives, the founder of Hopes Alive Initiative, Olori Temitope Enitan Ogunwusi. He appreciated her for her continuous efforts in the area of poverty alleviation and empowerment of the less privileged in the society.
Olori Ashley and Olori Tobi celebrates Ooni’s coronation anniversary
Still on his coronation anniversary, KFN reported that his third and fourth wife, had publicly celebrated him.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Olori Ashley eulogised the King for being a strong support system to everyone that comes in contact with him.
Singing his praises, she praised him for his courage and for being a true leader.
Olori Ashley applauded him for how he handles issues, ignores distractions and focus on what’s important, which is HUMANITY.
The fourth wife of the King went on to say powerful prayers for him.
“I give God the glory for preserving your life to see SEVEN beautiful years on the throne of your forefathers my CROWN JEWEL. I am proud to call you my HUSBAND and I am proud to call you my FATHER. You have been a strong support to everyone that has come in contact with you. The journey has not been easy, but God knew what he was doing when he chose you on the throne. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown, I admire your strength in all situations and challenges. Olori Tobi’s anniversary message
His third wife, keeping things short and simple, congratulated the monarch on his new feat
She noted how she is surrounded with too many blessings to be ungrateful.
Praying for him, she wrote,
“Congratulations on your 7th Year Coronation Anniversary Kabiyesi Mi.
Long May you reign HIM @ooniadimulaife.
Igba Odun kan ni o
E pe lo ri ite awon baba yin l’ase eledumare.
Too many blessings to be ungrateful”.
