Ooni of Ife has penned a prayerful message to celebrate one of his daughters, Princess Adewamiwa, as she clocks 16 today, the 20th of April 2023.
The proud father showered her 16 year old daughter with prayers from the depth of his heart, praying she will be preserved and live long to do great things in comfort.
The birthday message written in Yoruba dialect is roughly translated thus: Ọló̩jó̩ ìbí, Adéwámiwá ọmọ Ọò̩nirìṣà, olóríire ọmọ, ẹlé̩yinjú àánú, mo dúpé̩ l’ọ́wó̩ Olódùmarè fún ìgbésí ayé ẹ, láti ọjọ́ tí o ti dé ayé, títí di àkókò yí.
God will preserve you for us, you will live long, you will spend your time in comfort, you are 16 years old today, God will preserve your life for me, you will live and do great things in comfort. So you will be there!!

Ooni of Ife proudly celebrates his daughter with prayers on her birthday
It has been known as the style of the Ife’s monarch to celebrate his children with prayers. A few days ago, Ooni proudly celebrated his daughter, Erelu Olajumoke Adenola on her birthday.
He shared his daughter’s photo on his Instagram page with a prayerful message to mark her new age and acknowledged the woman she has become.
He wrote: Today marks another day in the life of my very dependable, strong and loving daughter, the adorable Erelu Olajumoke Adenola Omo Oonirisa, my very own.
As you mark another day in your life, I celebrate the powerful woman you have become and all the magnificent versions of you that are emerging.
As your father, the Arole Oduduwa and the Ooni Orisha, and all our ancestors who sit on the throne of your forebears, I wish you a fruitful year.

Ooni and family beautifully celebrate his 6th wife’s birthday
In like manner, Ooni beautifully celebrated his sixth wife, Queen Temitope Enitan Ogunwusi’s birthday in March 2023.
The beautiful Ife queen received warm wishes from her husband, siblings and other well wishers including the monarch’s sister.
Princess Adesola, on her side, wished Queen Temitope birthday blessings in her new age.
She wrote, “Happy birthday to her regal majesty, Olori Temitope Morenikeji Ogunwusi, wishing you many happy returns!
May God bless your new age and grant you all your heart desires, continue to age gracefully.”
Following this, an online video captured how Ooni beautifully celebrated his wife with a cake and song in the company of some officials.
The beautiful Queen Temitope smiled all through while the King sang for her on her birthday.
