Queen Tobi Philips, one for the many wives of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has recalled her vow to God as she prepares to celebrate her first birthday as a mother.
Queen Tobi shared a video of her heavily pregnant self and an appreciation to her sibling who stood by her before and after her child birth. She thanked her brother for his immense support.
The beautiful Ife queen recalled how she was bed ridden during her previous birthday but was forced out of her state by her brother who insisted she prepare her favourite food.
She also spoke about how she promised to announce God’s deeds if he helps her to be in a healthy mood this year.
She fulfills her vow by appreciating God’s faithfulness through her children’s names.

now let’s recount how I didn’t wanna get out of bed last year 2023’s birthday cos I wasn’t in the best of moods due to loss, I didn’t even answer most calls that day.
But my brother insisted that I had to cook my Favorite Coconut Fried Rice while he played music and cheered me up with cake and Icecream. Thank you Jesse.
📍 So before getting out of bed that day 4th June 2023, I made a deal with God…
I said “Dear God, you see how I have to act as if I’m in the best of moods today, please let me be in Real Best of Moods come 4th of June 2024” so I can tell the World that you did this for me.
