Following the unfortunate demise of Mohbad, discussions emerged about the noticeable contrast between Mohbad’s lavish lifestyle and his father’s gaunt, unwell appearance. This disparity led Opeyemi to comment on the potential neglect of parental care, highlighting that children taking care of their parents is not always a given, even if the parent has fulfilled their duties.
In another instance of controversy, Opeyemi recently reacted to Destiny Etiko’s bikini photos. While he acknowledged her attractive physique, he raised eyebrows by noting that her appeal was somewhat lessened by the fact that she was not a virgin.
His comment, which he claimed would be deleted soon, was made in a context where he attributed it to the cold weather in London. This remark was met with widespread disgust and criticism, with many finding his focus on virginity inappropriate and embarrassing.
This incident ties back to an earlier report by Kemifilani in April, where Destiny Etiko had created a buzz online regarding her virginity status.
At the age of 33, she claimed to have had no sexual experiences, attributing this to social anxiety and a lack of strong relationships. However, this claim was later debunked by Etiko herself. She denied ever stating she was a virgin and clarified in an interview that the rumor was fabricated by people seeking attention.
