Talk show host, Oprah Winfrey has denied advising the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the decision to step aside from the British royal family.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made an announcement on Wednesday that they will be relocating to Canada. They also revealed that they will be chasing financial independence.
Their decision is said to have left the Queen furious who stated that they are still having discussions on it.
Page Six had reported that Oprah Winfrey played a role in their decision to leave the royal family.
This has now been denied by Oprah Winfrey said in a statement to ET: “Meghan and Harry do not need my help in figuring out what’s best for them. I care about them both and support whatever decisions they make for their family.”
Oprah has been close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and even attended their wedding. She is currently working with Harry on a mental health series for Apple TV+ set to be released this year.
