Osinbajo, who has been touring technology hubs in Nigeria for the past five months to see the work young IT entrepreneurs and developers have been doing, took the trip to see how Nigerian tech companies and entertainment industry can collaborate with their US counterparts.
Executives from the entertainment industry in Nigeria also accompanied the VP on the trip for meetings with their US counterparts to explore areas of collaboration.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been touring technology hubs in Nigeria for the past five months to see the work that young IT entrepreneurs and developers have been doing. He visited companies like Andela, Paystack and Flutterwave during the tour.
Tweeting about the outing, Osinbajo said:
”Yesterday, we continued an interactive investment forum with institutions and individuals in Hollywood.
Creativity and talent abound in Nigeria and we are open for business. I met with reps from Universal studios, Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, IMAX, Disney and a host of others.
I am glad to have been at this forum with our very own Nigerian stars and members of the Creative community.”
