Ossai Success, the aide to Delta State Governor has slammed Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye for disrespecting his in-laws at his traditional wedding.
Kemi Filani reported on Friday that Paul Okoye had traditionally tied the knot to his girlfriend, Ivy Ifeoma. The singer in videos captured online was seen with the influencer and model in her hometown in Igbere, Abia State with her family to perform the marriage rites.
On Sunday, he took to his Instagram page to share photos from their traditional wedding with the caption, “IfyNonso”.
One of the photos he shared online didn’t sit well with Ossai Success who slammed the singer for disrespecting his in-laws. In the photo, the singer was seen wearing a cap while an elder prayed for him and his wife, which Ossai claimed is a disrespect to the elder.
He explained that the singer should have pulled off his cap while receiving prayers as he noted how the man wasn’t just an elder but an in-law.
Ossai noted how the youth of this generation lack respect because of their money.
“This is a total disrespect for the elder praying .
An elder is praying for Rudeboy of P Square during his traditional marriage days back and he is putting on cap.
Out of respect for the elder and his prayer , he ought to have pull off his cap while receiving prayer .
The man is not just an elder but an inlaw to him.
Young guys of nowadays lack respect because of money in their possession.
This is disrespect to the elder , his prayer and also to culture”.
Over the past few weeks, Ossai has made headlines over his love for criticizing celebrities especially those tying the knot.
In February, Ossai had criticized Moses Bliss over the photo he posted with his fiancee after she was called to a bar. He slammed the singer, stating that it was against Christianity, and accused him of committing fornication. He added that Moses Bliss should know better since he is a gospel singer.
Similarly, Ovie had chided Gospel musician singer, Theophilus Sunday over his pre-wedding shoot. He stated that holding the waist of a woman who is not his wife is a taboo traditionally and an immoral act in Christianity. Noting how the singer is a Minister of God, he stated that Theophilus was passing immorality to the world with the photo.
To add to it, the media aide had slammed actor Zubby Michael over his outfit to Junior Pope’s funeral. He expressed disappointment at him wearing a red T-shirt to the funeral, which he stated was annoying and disrespectful to the deceased.
