Ossai Success Ovie, a media aide to Delta State Governor, has slammed actor Zubby Michael over his outfit to Junior Pope’s funeral.
Kemi Filani reported that Zubby had surprised many after he stormed the actor’s funeral with heavy security amid claims of them having a fallout before his demise.
Taking to his Facebook page, Ossai expressed disappointment over his outfit as he stated that his red T-shirt was annoying and disrespectful to the deceased.
He noted how Junior Pope was young when he died and didn’t deserve him putting on a red shirt at his burial. He avowed that the actor could have worn a black or white shirt.
He stated that he knows Zubby is a good boy and has been a fan of his movies; however, he is disappointed in him. He admonished him to change.
“This is disrespectful to the late Jnr Pope.
Dear Zubby Michael, this your red dressing is inappropriate.
This your red T-shirt dressing to the burial ceremony of late Jr Pope is annoying and disrespectful to Jnr Pope.
Jnr Pope was so young when he died and doesn’t deserve you putting in red dressing to his burial ceremony.
The burial ceremony calls for a sober reflection and not a celebration party ground.
You could have gone there putting on black or white dressing.
I am disappointed, though. You are a good guy, and I so much love watching your movies.
I know you did this in an error, and I know you will change next time.

Similarly, actress Queen Wokoma had earned backlash over her outfit at Junior Pope’s burial, which she reacted to by sharing a screenshot of the inspiration she got for her outfit and slammed her critics for their foolishness. She noted how many form fashion gurù, yet they haven’t travelled from their local government.
Poking fun at them, she stated that she should have worn a wrapper or looked miserable to soothe them.
Recall that following Junior Pope’s death, netizens dragged Zubby Michael, who was the best man at his wedding, for not publicly mourning him.
Reacting to the criticisms, he told his critics to rest as he noted how not everything needs to be posted.
Angela Okorie had weighed in on the draggings, making it known that Zubby can never put up such a post because he knows why he is running. She noted how Zubby is fighting everyone in the industry to be the number one.
In another post, she noted how Zubby was Junior Pope’s best man during his wedding, yet he didn’t acknowledge him during his death.
