A popular Lagos cleric, Pastor Genesis has explained the mystery behind the N2 million cash gift singer, D’banj gave an eldërly woman.
Last week, singer gave a trader made headlines after gifting 2 million naira to a market woman after she described what she would do if she won the $1 jackpot.
An eldërly man, Kasnaty went to a market in the southwest to collect vox pop from market women on what they would do with a $1 lottery prize if they were lucky enough to win one.
The women who didn’t know the naira value of a dollar made absurd answers about how they’d spend it.
One woman, in particular, stated that she would use the $1 to finish her building, nurture her children, and develop her business.
The woman’s response caught the attention of D’banj who made known his interest to reach out to her.
Keeping to his words, the woman was found and the singer blessed her with N2 million in his house.
Analyzing the video, the pastor emphasizes the act of kindness. He noted how the woman got double for asking for one.
“Let me tell you the mystery of $1. One person went to the market and met one woman among many women. The person asked that woman what she would do with $1 and she said what she would do with it. Through that, she met D’banj and gave her one million for her business and another one million to take care of her kids. Because she mentioned one, he gave her double for her trouble”.

In a surprising post on her Instagram page, Tonto stated that if not for his ‘snaky’ personality, she would have stood up to a lot of bullshit.
She stated that he deserves as much hurt as he isn’t a helpful human.
According to Tonto, D’banj and Ini Edo don’t know how to give as they are stingy. She warned anyone in dire need of help never to ask for assistance from them as they can’t help others.
