Nollywood actor, Patrick Uchenna Attah better known as Pat Attah has opened up on his romance with one of Nollywood’s finest actresses, Genevieve Nnaji.
During an Instagram live session, Pat spoke out on his relationship and breakup with the legendary actress, who has stayed off the spotlight for months now.
According to him, their relationship was serious and wasn’t a secret as they went out together on several occasions and many of their colleagues were aware of their romance.
Unfortunately, their relationship hit the rocks for reasons, that he didn’t disclose.
However, the ex-lovebirds don’t harbor any I’ll feelings towards each other as they are still in communication.
He said,
“Here we go again, but I am not going to lie, yes we had something going on, and we are both serious, but for some reason, we had to break up when we had to break up. But that does mean that the whole thing was not serious. I think our relationship was about two years or thereabout. Our relationship was not a secret, we went to many places together because we were serious with each other”.

Also, Legendary Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie crowned Genevieve Nnaji, his favorite Nollywood actress.
The veteran, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, revealed that out of all the girls he has played the role of a father to in Movies, he loves Genevieve the most.
However, he wouldn’t call her again as he had tried to when he learned of her mental challenge.
Praising her, he described Genevieve as an exceptionally brilliant lady and admitted that he hasn’t been in communication with her for a while now.
“Of all the girls that have played my daughters in movies, Genevieve is the one I love most. I look at her as my daughter and she took me as her father. And she is a brilliant lady, an exceptionally brilliant lady and I haven’t heard a lot from her lately. Ever since I heard that she is a little disturbed, I hope that she calls me and tell me she is okay. I wouldn’t try calling her again, I tried”.

Meanwhile, it was alleged that Genevieve had been admitted to the hospital following a mental breakdown.
Controversial blogger, Gistlover alleged that the actress is suffering from mental issues and has been seeking treatment in Houston, Texas.
The actress was allegedly admitted for psychosis in a hospital in Texas, which name has been withheld for privacy purposes.
Gistlover claimed that the actress went into a mental breakdown and had tattooed her body with a blade.
According to the blog, her team members were trying to hide the news and were responsible for deleting all her Instagram posts.
Confirming the news, Sil Fenesse, a US-based Nurse revealed that Genevieve Nnaji was battling a mental breakdown at an American hospital in Texas.
Speaking out, Genevieve shared a video of her painting on her Instagram story.
Despite her indirect way of debunking the news, many still believed that all isn’t well with the actress.
The thespian has remained low-key on social media and has stayed out of the spotlight.
