Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor joined other Nollywood stars as they mourn their colleague Rachel Oniga who passed away on 30th July.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Patience Ozokwor is seen weeping as she recalled the moment she shared with the deceased.
The actress described Rachel Oniga as someone with a beautiful soul, adding that nobody reached out to her that her friend Rachel Oniga has been battling a heart-related ailment.
Patience Ozokwo who said she’s currently not in the country revealed that they made plans of what they were going to do together during the production of Chief Daddy 2.
She captioned the video: My heart is broken We planned so many things we were going to do together. Her last words to me ‘Don’t forget me oooh’ and I said ‘NEVER’.
KemiFilani News earlier reported that a family source recently revealed the death of veteran Rachel Oniga is not COVID-19 related as widely speculated on social media.
In a statement, the family disclosed that Rachel Oniga died in a Lagos hospital at the age of 64 on Friday, 30th July at 10 pm.
The statement revealed that the actress died of a heart-related issue, which she has been battling for an extended period.
