Mixed reactions have trailed a trending video of Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwo meeting the former First Lady of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan.
In the video which was posted on the veteran’s Instagram page, the movie star was captured showing humility to the past president’s wife as she knelt to greet her. In her caption, Patience expressed how much she loves the former first lady as she appreciated her.

Taking to her comment section, while some gushed over the link-up, many were disappointed that the veteran knelt to greet the former first lady.

Patience Ozokwo has undoubtedly come a long way in the industry and she is finally reaping her rewards
Last year, Patience Ozokwo penned a heartfelt note to her children after she bagged a Lifetime Achievement Award. She recounted how her children sacrificed a lot and stayed without a mother while she was filming. She appreciated them for surrounding her with love and acceptance.
The veteran is already counting down to her 45 years in the industry. In May, she shared a video on her Instagram page, calling for support as she recalled how her journey began with a single step.
Recently, comedian Basketmouth joined thousands in celebrating Patience Ozokwo on her birthday. Sharing a photo of him and the veteran on the set of his project, he recalled the conversation he had with her to be a part of his movie. According to him, when he called her, without asking for money or a contract, she called him her son and promised to be there for him.
Basketmouth stated that the level of support she showed him meant the world to him as he expressed how blessed he was to share the same birthday with her.
