Nigerian media personality and former husband of Ireti Doyle, Patrick Doyle, has slammed socialite Sophia Egbueje over her Lamborghini.
Kemi Filani reported last week that social media was set again after an audio recording surfaced online of Sophia narrating her sexual relationship with Burna Boy and his promise to buy her a Lamborghini, which he didn’t fulfill.
Following the leaked audio, Sophia announced to the world that she bought a white Lamborghini without the singer’s help.
Reacting to it on his Facebook page, Patrick noted how she boasted about the value of her wristwatch and flaunted an N600 million naira car. He further noted how some netizens were impressed and congratulated her and how Sophia was happy and constantly flaunting both items despite the world knowing about her shameful means of livelihood.
The media personality stated that he believes some of her extended family members are going through a tough time, yet she is splurging millions on items. The ex-husband of Ireti added that the romantizing of inquity has become the stock in trade of dim wits amongst us.
“She boasted about the value of her wristwatch and flaunted a 600 million Naira car. The combined value of both items is in the range of 650 to 750 million Naira. Some half-wits were impressed and effusively congratulated her as she smiled and flaunted both items. As if we hadn’t heard about her shameful means of livelihood. Meanwhile, I can bet that there are members of her extended who are going through a tough time. The romanticizing of iniquity has become the stock in trade of dim wits amongst us”.
Some months back, Patrick had sent a message to his gender. He stated that nothing tests a man’s essence as when his ego and dignity are rubbished by a humiliating snub or gesture from a person with whom he once shared intimacy. Doyle recounted how a dear friend of his responded publicly to a humiliation done to him by his ex-wife, which he didn’t endorse.
Last year, Patrick Doyle had reacted to Davido’s logistics manager, Isreal DMW’s marital drama, stating that it takes a special species of low-life man to engage in a social media saga with his former partner. According to him, only a low-life man engages in social media drama with a woman he has been intimate with.
