Despite the fact that award winning actress and Nollywood box office queen Funke Akindele Bello was the talk of the internet today, actress Ini Edo has refused to join the celebrities celebrating Funke Akindele’s birthday.
Kemi Filani had reported that Funke Akindele clocked 45 today, the 24th of August, 2022 and the internet is agog with messages from fans, colleagues, well-wishers and families.
A list Nollywood actors and actresses including Ayo Makun, Mercy Johnson, Eniola Badmus, Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Ruth Kadiri and others have celebrated Funke Akindele on social media.
Kemi Filani reported that the internet was wild with jubilation when Funke Akindele’s estranged husband, Abdurasheed Bello, known as JJC Skillz, surprised Funke Akindele on her 45th birthday.
JJC Skillz shared a video collage comprising of his favourite moments of Funke and their twin boys, with a soundtrack of a professing love song.
He wrote: “Happy birthday my darling mama ibeji, I pray for our children to embody the goodness of God and be a blessing to generations. Today is your day to celebrate and live to the fullest, Long life and prosperity.”
Kemi Filani also reported that Eniola Badmus showered love on Funke Akindele in celebration of her 45th birthday.
The beautiful actress who had been stirring the internet since her shocking body transformation prayed for her best friend, wishing her new age would give her enough reasons to stay cheerful and happy.
“Happy Lafunky….. It is a special day for someone who is now 45-years old, may this day give you enough reasons to stay cheerful, happy @funkejenifahouse”.
It is no news that celebrities celebrate their loved ones on social media even after reaching out to the celebrant privately. Social media is one of the ways many decode what is happening among Nollywood stars.
It is no surprise that Ini Edo did not celebrate Funke Akindele’s 45th birthday on social media as the latter refused to celebrate her 40th birthday.
Kemi Filani recalls that Funke Akindele neither attended her event nor celebrated her on social media, unlike the previous year when she prayed for her as she turned 39.
Back then, Funke Akindele shared a photo of the beautiful actress and wrote,” Happy Birthday my love…God bless you more, my sister!!! Love you gurl @iniedo”
However, she failed to celebrate her this year nor attend her event.
An inside source told Kemi Filani that things went awry between them while on the set of Chief Daddy 2, but this is yet to be confirmed.
