Upcoming Nigerian singer, Peruzzi has tackled his former boss, Davido over his latest possession, a private jet.
Kemi Filani news on Thursday night that the singer had hinted at acquiring a new jet, a Bombardier 7500 tear rubber, which is worth between $68 million to $78 million.
Peruzzi expressed how baffled he is that Davido would be fighting with him over Igbeaux ( Nigerian slang for marijuana) at night and yet would splash millions on a private jet the next day.
Congratulating him, Peruzzi went on to Bill him for a verse he made for him charging the singer $500,000.
“How you go follow me drag Igbeaux for night, next day you buy new jet.
Emmmm! Congrats @davido but..
That last night’s verse is $500k. Thanks & Thanks”.
It is good to see their relationship is still soaring after being hit with a scandal that almost tore them apart.
Refreshing your memory, a year back, rumors filtered through the online community that Peruzzi had slept with Chioma, an allegation that he debunked, saying it’s a crãzy thing for him to be accused of sleeping with the wife of a man who helped him.
Readdressing it in another interview, he revealed that Davido has never asked him about it nor have they engaged in discussions about it. He stated that if Davido had approached him on the subject matter, he would have found it disappointing.
Early this year, he threatened legal action against a Twitter man for refueling the rumors, after he pretended to be him (Peruzzi) by calling out Davido for being an ungrateful person and stating that he was angry because he had slept with his wife.
The man had retracted the statement and had tendered an apology to Peruzzi, who rejected it and threatened legal action.
Davido had even weighed into it, concurring that the man should be locked in jail and the keys be thrown away.
