Nigerian singer and dancer Peter Okoye of the famous music group Psquare has kept to his promise on throwing more light on the allegation of arresting his twin brother, Paul with EFCC.
Last month, Instagram blogger Cutie Juls alleged that Paul and his elder brother, Jude Okoye, had been arrested by EFCC. Paul later confirmed it as he took to his Instagram page to rejoice after getting clearance from the commission. He made it known that he wasn’t a thief but made his money through good music.
In an interview, he opened up on his relationship with his twin brother, recounting how Peter got him and their older brother, Jude Okoye, arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC in December 2023.
Now, speaking out, Peter said he never arrested his twin brother. Rather, he filed a petition against their elder brother, Jude Okoye, who has been secretly diverting Psquare’s money with his wife to a secret account. He said he had warned his lawyers not to include his brother in the petition as he had no hand.
Peter revealed that he was left speechless when he saw Paul’s interview, alleging that he had ordered EFCC to arrest him. He noted how he spoke to both Paul and Jude behind the scenes on settling the issue, but they didn’t give him a position answer, leaving him no choice but to file a petition against Jude.

It is no longer news that the famous twins have fallen out again. Addressing their fallout hours ago, Peter let his twin brother know that he was not in any competition with him or anybody else. He stated that seeing him grant several interviews where he constantly discredits his efforts in the group they both created and built speaks volumes. He noted how Paul had chosen to team up with their elder brother, Jude Okoye, to marginalise and humiliate him; and to disrespect him and his family.
